| Welcome to the Florida Unit Website. Our Unit was chartered as The Southeastern Unit in 1956 making us one of the oldest units in the WBCCI. We feel we are one of the most progressive. The Florida Unit schedules rallies all over the State. Our rallies include weekends to accommodate members who may not be able to participate on weekdays. |

| The St. Augustine Easter Rally is alive and well. Frank and Joan Carson are relinquishing the Directorship of the St Augustine National Easter Rally after 11 fantastic years. Willard Pickrel and Victor Smith have agreed to step into Frank and Joan's shoes as Directors. Willard will have to wear Joan's shoes, they don't go with Vic's ensemble. Frank and Joan will continue to be involved with the SAER. They will handle the hiring of entertainment and tours. Frank has taken over the Florida State Rally as Director and that is a full time job. The FSR is the second only to the International in attendance. Frank wants to make it the LARGEST. Frank and Joan have made the Easter Rally one of the most sought after rallies on the East Coast. The debt of gratitude the Florida Unit owes them for their tireless work on this and other rallies and as the cohesive bond that welds the Unit together can only be repaid by the continued support of the membership that makes this a great Unit. |

| SPECIAL NOTICE Walter Cully, Region 3 2nd VP was injured at the Easter Rally when the rear wheel of his truck ran over his leg laying it open to the bone. He was AirEvac'ed to Shands, Gainesville.
